The pictures only gave a so-so idea of what you should be doing with your hands. Thats is just one of the reasons I find myself inevitably going back to this book in the future. This book, along with O'Brien's The Great Ships, would be an excellent addition to elementary libraries and classrooms. Some languages are self-taught; and for some – Irish and Romany – he finds willing tutors.
