The material in this collection provides a representative selection of essays, fiction, poetry and drama by female authors. I often thought, as I read this book, that all mention of Tolkien and Middle-Earth could be deleted and the book would still be viable. We are using it for the accounting half of the course plus Connect (but from the Ross book). My kids loved hearing about how plants we can pick and grow can heal us.
